We had a mostly - mostly! - amazing weekend. Shearing sheep, cooking sap, visiting with friends, soaking up some sun, and planning our many projects for spring.
The stuff this little farm dream was built around.
However there was also an unfortunate decision I made involving my left hand and a submersible blender that landed me in the emergency room on Saturday night for some glue stitches.
Thanks to this regrettable bumping-of-the-button-while-freeing-the-jammed-blades I am unable to type (or knit, or cook, or... you get the idea) for at least a few days. (Or if I'm honest with myself, it's more likely a few weeks.)
Damn you, botched caramel sauce!
But mostly darn you, poor judgement.
Sigh.
That being said I'm thankful to have all my digits still, and it certainly could have been so, so much worse.
But I think I'll take a bit of quiet time this week to heal up and rest this gnarly finger.
Hoping soon to be able to type again with both hands.
Because this. is. torturously. slow.
In case you missed it, I did post Heal Eczema Step 4 on Friday afternoon. I hope it is helpful for you!
Love,
Rachel
