I mean, seriously.
I'm just going to dump a bunch or gorgeous photographs on you all week long, with no text whatsoever. Because what can I say that will make this more amazing?
Okay. I can't keep quiet. (Never could.) But I have at least 100 photos worth sharing from the past three days.
Pete, Sage, Lupine and I had an incredible and unforgettable weekend on the North Shore of Lake Superior with some wonderful friends - old and new.
The pictures above (and those yet to come) were all taken at a 40 year reunion at Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center, where I worked during 1997-1998 as an naturalist intern/graduate student.
It was a pivotal year.
While at Wolf Ridge I made my first ever batch of soap. Pete and I got engaged. And my friends on the Ridge taught me how to knit. Those three things have proved very important to me in recent years, as you might expect.
But this weekend was simply for play. The fall colors were at their peak, the community was inspiring, the site was as gorgeous as ever.
Oh, my. It was a good weekend indeed. More tomorrow from this magical land.
Love,
Rachel
